This place was such a wonderful little surprise on our way through the Catskills, they have it all! They have all the essentials of a convenience store, but they also have a fantastic little deli! Our sandwiches were phenomenal, large portions for a more than reasonable price!

Based on 2 cheeseburgers and 1 drink, food is fresh, people are friendly and our bill was a big shocker! $30??? Really?? Yes, there were fries with one of them and the other had unwelcome pasta salad (was this because I wanted lettuce and tomato on my burger?). We are local and will not be back. I should have looked more carefully at the menu. A $14 burger is not an item of pleasure in my book. They don't even have a bathroom, just a port-a-potty.

We've gotten both sandwiches and curry here, it's all good. The potato and eggplant curry was quite spicy-hot, and it takes a lot to impress this Texas girl spice-wise. Came with a yogurt sauce, lovely fragrant rice, and dessert(gulab jamun, cake ball in sweet syrup). I've also tried the samosa chaat, also very good. Fed my family of 4 for about $40, far cheaper than the curry house takeout in Hudson. Quick and friendly counter service, call ahead if there is something you really want, as things do run out. The store part has a nice and sometimes unusual selection of candies and drinks, fun to browse while waiting for your order. This is 6 minutes from our dojo for karate, so no doubt we will be back. A unique place kind of out in the middle of Greene County, glad to find it!

To be fair, I'm rating currently based on my "curry night" experience, I haven't utilized them as a convenience store or deli yet.
Via their Facebook page, I learned that on Wednesday's they will be having a couple Indian- type meals available for purchase: one price if you call ahead, a dollar more for walk ins. The night we went, the offerings were daal masala, tandoori chicken legs, another chicken dish they were out of, and the meals came with veggie pakora and dessert! For $6.99, how bad could it be?
We got 2 orders of daal - each came with an entire takeout container of rice, an entire takeout of the daal, and a vanilla pudding with a spice I can't put my finger on. Plus the veggie pakora - that was awesome!! Hot and crispy, so delicious, and they were generous with the sauces. The daal has the right level of heat (for me) and the portion was so generous, I ate it for lunch for 2 days after!! My husband also got a tandoori chicken leg - which was the leg and thigh, cold. Once we heated it up, it was delicious!! The pudding was super yummy and a really nice end to our meal.
I'm really excited about this place being around the corner from me! It looks like they do other specials on Saturdays too, in addition to breakfast sandwich specials and deli sandwiches. Two of the recent Saturday specials I saw were sweet & sour chicken and gyro rice.
AND the people were so sweet! Give this place a shot, it's a nice addition in an unexpected place. -

Nice little place that just opened up a few months ago. Sneaky good location at the base of a shortcut to Hunter mountain. Clean and fairly priced, with a solid deli selection and occasional international options. Family-owned, and the owners have worked at several other gas stations, delis, and restaurants in the area, and work with a passion. Haven't had a bad experience yet, and don't foresee it happening.
